The good thing about the software developer careers is that unlike most industries, an information technology salary may lead to further entrepreneurial opportunities in the future.
To compete for a position as a software developer, you’ll first need to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems (CIS) or a computer science degree online or on campus. From there you can try to get into IT management by obtaining your masters in information technology.
